Recycled and Chain-of-Custody Certified Paper Products

From using alternative fibers like abaca to developing recycled papers made from post-consumer waste, creating environmentally responsible papers and products is an ongoing effort we constantly improve upon. Using over 90% of the tree during the paper making process is part of that effort. The fiber is used to make paper and the lignin to make green energy, which helps reduce carbon emissions and pollution.

Every part of the production, including recovering, recycling and reusing water and black liquor; using elemental chlorine-free chemicals for bleaching; and using oxygen delignification is designed and operated to reduce our environmental footprint.

Evaluating existing products and developing new products to meet customer needs with minimal environmental impact are part of our New Product Development process. Recyclable products like our teabag papers are biodegradable—a better alternative than plastic, which is used by competitors.
