The Earth’s resources are abundant only if treated with care and respect. Glatfelter protects the environment by looking at our product lifecycles, incorporating recycled content, and creating products that conserve resources.
Glatfelter takes a proactive role in conserving energy and improving our environmental performance. This includes using alternative energy sources, utilizing co-generation; reducing greenhouse gas emissions; responsibly managing secondary products and conserving resources.
Increasing our use of responsible raw materials, renewable fibers, and biomass fuels are the focus of our operations. Air emissions and water discharges are also monitored.
