HR Generalist, Corporate

Under supervision of our Corporate Human Resources Manager, assists in the administration of policies and programs including:  recruiting, communications, policy development, affirmative action/EEO, employee relations, absence management, compensation and training & development.  Leads and supports a wide variety of HR projects and process improvement initiatives.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Manages the internal and external recruiting process to secure and meet required staffing needs in a timely manner.
  • Develops and supports proactive recruitment strategies utilizing technology and other means to develop functional networks and external bench strength and incorporate diversity recruiting initiatives.
  • Drafts, reviews, and issues organizational communications in support of various HR initiatives. Conducts analysis in support of communication initiatives.
  • Researches and compiles resources and tools for training and development. Plans, conducts, and reports on training needs and assessments. Provides project support for leadership development and succession planning initiatives.
  • Performes and/or supports special projects as appropriate including but not limited to vendor analysis and recommendations, SOP development, etc.
  • Administers the performance management process to ensure accurate, fair and consistent employee evaluations. Manages compensation and related initiatives related to merit pay, incentive plans, job evaluations, and other compensation matters. Works with managers to develop and update job descriptions as needed.
  • Analyzes, recommends, and supports implementation of continuous improvement initiatives across assigned HR processes to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Provides employee relations support, development planning, and coaching directly to employee and managers. Investigates all corporate employee relation issues and/or complaints.
  • Provides programmatic and administrative support in absence of management (Workers Compensation, Unemployment claims, FMLA, STD, LTD)
  • Other duties and projects as directed.


  • Education & Experience – Bachelor’s Degree in HR, Business Administration or related field preferred from accreditied college or university, with 0-2 years of experience.
  • Computer Skills – Demonstrated advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office 365 products and other technologies.

  • Up to 5-10% travel may be required as necessitated by projects and assigned work streams.
